As I have posted before I am continually trying to find uses for this game in my high school biology classroom, and I am frustrated that not all of our animal phyla are represented! I understand the mechanics of how does a sponge fit in may be difficult, but that doesnt mean we should ignore their existance!
something should be done about this!

Heads up, that about 30 new cards are in progress that deal specifically with coral reef ecosystems. You can check out a DIY beta (using photos) version of these cards at http://phylogame.org/tag/AMNHcoraltest

Images are being prepped as we speak, but you can use the DIY cards if you want for now. Note that the game is a little more complex, since reef ecosystems are more nuanced and unconventional compared to the usual plant, herbivore, carnivore mix.

Actually, if you do play around with it, feedback would be appreciated. Right now, the main concern is that the learning curve for this deck is especially steep.

p.s. The coral reef deck (with art) should be appearing on site around mid June. As well, there maybe a physical deck that can be purchased (funds go towards educational initiatives), but I can pass on more info about that as I learn more myself!

I think for starters, we should cover at least all of those listed here.
